Joining the Mayo Association in Dublin is a great way to meet and socialise with Mayo people in the capital. The Association has many events throughout the year such as the Annual Dinner Dance in February, Summer BBQ, Race night and so on.
Membership is open to anybody born in Mayo or of Mayo descent and who are resident and/or working in Dublin City or County.
The cost is a once-off fee of €25.00 and there is no annual subscription. Once you are on the register of members you will be informed by email or letter of the upcoming events run by the Mayo Association in Dublin .

The mayo association Dublin's objectives and purpose are written into the constitution as:
To promote cultural, social and other functions for its members.
To co-operate with Mayo sporting bodies in financing the training, travelling and entertainment of Mayo teams.
To assist in the revival of Irish as a spoken language by, amongst other things, enabling children to spend holidays in the Irish speaking districts of Mayo.
To render assistance to any member in need thereof.
To help charitable organisations and other organisations in Mayo and in Dublin City and County.
To co-operate with Mayo and other County Associations.
To promote social, cultural and economic interests in County Mayo.
To promote a positive image of the County – to engender and foster an appreciation of the County, both nationally and internationally.
To support and subscribe to any charitable organisation and any institution, society or club which may be for the benefit of the County or its inhabitants or may be connected with any town or place within the County, to give charitable aid to any person or persons who may be in need thereof or to the spouse, children or relatives of such persons and to contribute to benefit funds for the benefit of any such persons.
To do anything and/or undertake any activity in furtherance of any of the above objectives.
