The Mayo Association Dublin is one of the best supported and most active County Associations both nationally and internationally. Founded in 1905, the Association has proved to be an effective outlet for the Mayo diaspora in Dublin through networking and friendship in social and business life.

The Mayo Association Dublin’s objectives and purpose are written into the constitution as:

    • To promote cultural, social and other functions for its members.

    • To assist in the revival of Irish as a spoken language by, amongst other things, enabling children to spend holidays in the Irish speaking districts of Mayo.
