Mayo Roscommon Hospice Annual Memorial Walk takes place on Sunday 9 September in five towns across the region – Ballaghaderreen, Belmullet, Claremorris, Castlerea and Westport. The walk commences at 2pm in each location and is a leisurely 5km stroll suitable for all fitness levels.
The closing date for online registration is Thursday 23 August. Alternatively you can pick up a registration form in any of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Shops across the region, call the office in Knock on 094-9388666 or email [email protected].
The cost of registration is €15 per person and includes a souvenir t-shirt which can be personalised with the name of the person whom you will be walking in memory of. All proceeds raised go directly to local Palliative Care Services.
A short blessing will take place before the walkers set off, giving all those taking part an opportunity to take a moment to reflect and remember their loved ones.
