Mayo Association Dublin is delighted to announce that Western Care Association will be our ‘Mayo Charity’ Partner for our Annual Awards 2020, which will be presented on Friday 14 February.

All proceeds from our Bumper Draw on Valentine’s Night will go towards this voluntary organisation, which continues to provide invaluable supports and services to both adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities in Mayo since it was first established in 1966 by the parents and friends of children with learning disabilities in the county.

Today, the Association provides a wide range of services for up to 1,450 children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, through a network of group homes and training centres in the community. It relies on the generosity and support of people throughout Mayo to raise funds to sustain its range of services and supports.

Western Care Association is deeply rooted in all towns and communities across Mayo, and with over 900 staff members it is one of the county’s top employers.
